Created For You will be at the Grand Opening of Canberra's newest markets. Ginger Lane Markets is on 9th October from 5pm till 9pm. Held at the same time as Double Happiness at the House of Representatives Courtyard, it should be a great chance to grab a drink, a bite to eat and some retail therapy in this fabulous limited Summer Twilight Market.

Well that was an incredibly busy weekend!

We had such an awesome day at Handmade on Saturday - it was terrific. We had such good weather and so many people. Needless to say I was exhausted after the days efforts but it was well worth it. I bought a lovely bracelet off Lauren from BeGurple - so cute!

After dragging myself out of bed begrudgingly, we set off to Old Bus Depot Markets on the Sunday. The wind was a bit of an issue and we constantly tried to catch button earrings flying away.... but it was still a good day. My little helper Ellie found in a quiet moment that a nap was in order so set herself up on our comfy rug and promptly went to sleep. I was incredibly jealous!

4 o'clock rolled by and we packed up, being the last to leave. Settled in for a drink on the new deck that Dad just built was heaven as was the sleep that soon followed.

Exciting news - Handmade is less than a week away!

This Saturday (12th September) come check out the amazing new home of Handmade - The Yarralumla Woolshed!

It should be a fabulous day with a great weather forcast, over 100 designers and amazing food, people and atmosphere. Of course Created For You will be there with bells on. I have an outdoor stall so look for the green marquee and lots and lots of bright and funky buttons!

Canberra Centre Stall For Handmade

Can you believe it? Only just over a week until Handmade in Bloom!

I've been grasping at every spare minute and making lots of new button earrings and some more new designs. Very exciting stuff but my fingers are now bruised from working with so much wire. :( No pain no gain though... at least that's what I keep telling myself anyway.

So in preparation for Handmade in Bloom at the fabulous new location of the Yarralumla Woolshed, a few stallholders (myself included) are having a little marketing day in the Canberra Centre. I'm not sure who else will be there but I'm pretty sure there are over 10 designers selling their wares and getting the word out about Handmade.

So come check it out. Saturday September 5th, we'll be between Smiggle and Cotton on in the Canberra Centre from 9am onwards. This is also quite close to Target.
